We've been fortunate enough to be able to do several events for units at JBLM over the past few years. It all started with a photo booth setup for a Christmas party for the 22nd Special Tactics Squadron sponsored by the USO at the Emerald Queen Casino. We had a great time there, although it was tough keeping track of all of the toy weapons. I laughed that buys that spend so much time with machine guns and rocket launchers can't resist playing with rubber swords. With a little help from the DJ, making the announcement, "Please return all weapons to the photo booth". We still laugh about that.
A short bit after our big Christmas party we were contacted by the 4-160th to set up a formal portrait station at one of their Daddy & Daughter dances, since then we have had the pleasure of being asked back to several more events by several different units at JBLM. The Daddy Daughter events are some of our favorites, it is amazing to watch the soldiers and their daughters having a great time and goofing off in our GONNA SNAP! photo booth. The formal portrait station where fathers and daughters can have a portrait taken, then we invite them back to have photos with whichever princess & prince is in attendance with prints available in just 15 seconds.
Knowing the stress that are put on Military families it has been an honor to be a part of events to help our soldiers have a little fun and unwind a little bit. It is a special treat to just see them be silly with their kids for a little bit and have some fun. We look forward to being a part of many more of these events.
